Christian Aid is one of the U.K.’s best known charities.  Established in the 1940’s, Christian Aid has been working for more than 60 years to fulfil their vision:

An end to poverty – and they believe that vision can become a reality.

Together with their partners, Christian Aid work around the world - tackling the root causes of poverty as well as its effects.

They provide emergency relief in more than 40 countries globally and work towards sustainable projects that educate and empower the poverty stricken enabling people to sustain themselves, their families and communities in the future.

An example of just one of these crises is that every day, ­5,500 children lose the battle for survival, killed by diseased water and clean water has been identified as the number one priority in particular in sub-Saharan Africa.

For as little as £10, Christian Aid can provide a child with a lifetime’s supply of clean, fresh water.
